GV Prakash Vs Santhanam – Who’s Pattanathil Boodham?

Remember one of the most evergreen fantasy flicks of Tamil cinema – Pattanathil Bhoodham that starred Late actors Jai Shankar and Nagesh in lead roles, which is loosely based on the fantasy tale of Alladin and Genie. Over a long period of time, there have been a racy contestation between many leading actors, directors and producers to remake this film. The latest on the bandwagon seems to be music director turned actor GV Prakash and Santhanam. Both of them are keen on playing the lead roles in the remake of Pattanathil Bhoodham. Well, we aren’t sure who’s got the rights, which is reportedly acquired by Mano Bala. But sooner, we might have the official announcements made.
