Maniratnam incurs loss due to Fire accident

The maverick filmmaker Maniratnam is quite busy and very much occupied with the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari. The shooting commenced before a month at Ooty and now the second schedule at Chennai. While the makers were busy shooting a song at a leading studio in Chennai, they were appalled to hear that their office had a fire accident last evening and the reason is unknown. It is worth mentioning the materials worth lakhs have been destroyed due to this. It is worth mentioning that Kaatru Veliyidai has been produced by Maniratnam’s home banner of Madras Talkies. The film also features Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath, RJ Balaji and many more prominent actors too.
