Following his debut as an actor playing negative role in AR Murugadoss’ Hindi remake of Mouna Guru, Anurag Kashyap embarks on his journey out here in Tamil film industry. He plays the negative role named Rudra in Atharvaa Murali-Nayantara starrer ‘Imaikka Nodigal’, which is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony fame. Touted to be an edge-seated thriller, shooting of this film is happening on full swing, where Anurag Kashyap playing the antagonist named RUDRA has been overwhelmed with excitements working with this team.

In his recent press note, he has mentioned saying, “I am really exhilarated working with this team that is loaded with young and vibrant personalities. Especially, Ajay Gnanamuthu has been someone who is so much focused on getting what he wants. When he approached me for the role of RUDRA, the reason it made me instantly pick was the characterization. Rudra doesn’t drink, smoke or indulge with girls and item numbers, but he is smart, scary and cunning.”

He also adds that the shooting of this film is done with three schedules and the final one would be wrapped up by end of April.
