5 South Indian biggies that evoked International attraction

A moment of irresistible joy and celebrations are spreading out in South Indian industry. It’s all for one reason – the big bang triumph of Baahubali The Conclusion, where it is almost shattering the box office records of even Khan movies of Bollywood. The film has now made a tremendous box office record of 100Crore in India alone. This isn’t just about the box office figures, but the fame of South India that spreads out to the global platforms. In the past, there have been many such South Indian movies that have turned the international spotlights even eclipsing the big tickets of own periodical releases in other regional languages too.

1. Dasavatharam

Lots of reasons made this film click in all regional languages of India. For the first very reason, Kamal Haasan played 10 different roles and the story became more international as it travels across different countries. With few more big names like Malaikka Sherawat, Himesh Reshamiya and few more technically strong personalities involved. Moreover with Jackie Chan attending the audio launch of this film, it became internationally acclaimed.

2. Baahubali

The Beginning: There is no need for briefing about this film. In fact, it set a new bench mark for Indian film industry. The movie turned to be an immense masterpiece, especially in Hindi industry as Karan Johar of Dharma Productions nurtured it with big bang release across the International zones in Hindi version. In fact, it wasn’t just confined to the Indian languages, but proceeded to have its release in International languages including Chinese.

3. Vishwaroopam

The entire Indian film industry came in support of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam, which was bounded to International theme of Good Vs Bad. This stupendous style of making, breathtaking performances and overall packaging made even Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan come in support of this film. Of course, it became an official record of 100-Crore club with Tamil, Telugu and Hindi version.

4. Endhiran – The Robot

Every big ticket took a pause from proceeding with its releases. Of course, Bollywood was pretty sure that nothing can hamper its market of fandom and released ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, which turned out to be a miserable flop all because of ‘The Robot’. In spite of having big names like Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, the film didn’t even make half the collections of Rajinikanth-Aishwarya Rai starrer film.

5. Hey Ram

This was bounded to whole lot of controversies as the film touched the most sensational issue. It had lots of brickbats and criticisms, but Hey Ram managed to make an International appeal not alone for the theme, but for having the country’s promising actors – Kamal Haasan and Shahrukh Khan playing the lead roles.
