1.URVASI URVASI IN ‘LION’


Dev Patel and AR Rahman share a wonderful rapport as they together made an appealing show with Academy Award winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. In this year Oscar nominated ‘Lion’, we find the most celebrated ‘Urvasi Urvasi’ from AR Rahman’s earliest hit of 90s ‘Kadhalan’ album featured in a particular scene.

2. SWASAME AND YAARO YAARODI IN ‘THE ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND’


This had sparked off the huge sensational celebrations as none predicted it would happen. The songs from AR Rahman’s album Swasame (Tenali) and Yaaro Yaarodi (Alaipayuthey) were spotted in the background score on this Hollywood film ‘The Accidental Husband’.

3.THIRAKKAADHA KAATTUKULLE IN MILLION DOLLAR ARM


One more huge surprise was imposed upon the fans of AR Rahman and for every Tamilian across the world as they happened to hear the song ‘Thirakkaadha Kaattukulle’ crooned by Unni Krishnan and Chitra from the super hit 90s album ‘En Swasa Kaatre’ by the end credits of Million Dollar Arm.

4. KURU KURU – COUPLES RETREAT

This wasn’t a replica of AR Rahman’s best albums, but he originally composed for this super hit Rom-Com Hollywood movie Couples Retreat, which had the special effects of scissors in the backdrop.

5. BOMBAY JAYASHRI’S LULLABY – LIFE OF PI

This Oscar winning film featured the most mellisonant track crooned by Bombay Jayashri, which occurs by the opening credits of the film and at some important places too.
