The instant assumptions or doubtful presumptions that eventually took rise when the official word involving Velai Illa Pattadhaari 2 – What’s going to be unique here? This happened to be the inmost question that paved up perplexities on its own accord on pars with the exhilarations too.
The way the trailer starts is really surprising to see the repetition of what had actually happened in the first half. We tend to see father Samuthirakani using the same tone of advice and strict orders upon his son Raghuvaran. It continues to proceed, where we get to see that there are lots of humorous elements too. Especially, the pathos of a husband stuck in wife’s clutches of being like a hostel warden. These episodes would definitely pull the attention of family audiences and the makers have perfectly placed these shots.
The entry of Kajol into the frame is not really magical or overpowering and she looks more aged with her costumes not befittingly suitable to her looks. We don’t mean to say that costumes nor her looks are mediocre, but it doesn’t synch up well.
When it comes to the musical components, Sean Roldan has done a maverick job with his spell being unconventional from her previous movies BGMs. The same star-cast involving Samuthirakani, Amala Paul, Hrishikesh from the first part along with Vivek is a real best package to immediately book our tickets.
But the portions, where Dhanush repeats the phrases like ‘VIP’, ‘Amul Baby’ and so on gives an impression that he is trying to encash the credits of first part over here.
But then, Dhanush can be confident and sure-footed that Velai Illa Pattadhaari will definitely bring in decent opening for these above mentioned reasons, but rest of the contribution goes with what the actual plot is and how engaging the movie is going to be.
