Iravaakaalam – A mix of Gone Girl and Drishyam?

Making his debut directorial with the film ‘Maya’, director Ashwin Saravanan won a great reception for the technical brilliance and unconventional narration. The director’s second outing ‘Iravaa Kaalam’ is getting ready for release and last evening had the theatrical teaser unveiled. Speaking about the film, Ashwin says that Iravaa Kaalam will be a drama film that gets pitched with thriller elements. The film traverses through the lives of three different personalities played by SJ Suryah, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sshivada Nair.

The film’s basic premise is about how a person’s action or choice of past can become a ghost and affect the present life. Iravaa Kaalam which means the endless time, he says that would be a film that belongs to the genre of Gone Girl and Drishyam.
