The brand ‘Sathuranka Vettai’ had a strong realm before three years. It arrived as a special and surprising delight for it had everything to be a successful movie. The characterizations, the setting of dramatic moments and the raciness in the screenplay was more engaging. With no connection with the first installment, the second one arrives with a teaser now bringing more heralds. This time, the film isn’t helmed by the same filmmaker Vinoth, who has just penned story, screenplay and dialogues with NV Nirmal Kumar of ‘Salim’ fame wielding the megaphone.
The film’s teaser showcases the presence of may versatile actors Prakash Raj, Radha Ravi, Nassar, Chandini, Sreeman, Manobala, Kumaravel, E.Ramadoss, Balaji and Thirupathi in supporting roles (some of them aren’t seen here in the teaser though).
In many places, Arvind Swamy reminiscences us off the ‘Siddarth Abhimanyu’ and it looks like this is quite inevitable. Maybe, he has got to experiment something with a full-fledged comedy film to overshadow that avatar. One strong element with Arvind Swamy is that he can evoke humour with his dialogue deliveries and it is evident here as well. Well, the combination of Prakash Raj and Arvind Swamy was highly infectious in ‘En Swasa Kaatre’ and now we can’t wait to see them come together again.
‘Money is always ultimate’ happened to be the core of first part and now it is repeated here as well. But it looks like; someone affected by the bigwigs in the society decides to retaliate. But this could be a major difference from the first part that actually involved the protagonist himself as a conman.
Trisha doesn’t get more footage in this 45-second teaser and so is the case of other characterizations too.
But all that we can be sure is that Sathuranka Vettai 2 is going to be a voguish conman tale with raciness.
