Long wait for Ajith Kumar fans and it all had a storming gratification last night. The theatrical trailer of Ajith Kumar-Kajal Aggarwal starrer Vivegam was unveiled and let us has a look on what’s so unique about this.
We would like dissect the trailer in two better segments since it’s a real big sensational project that kept everyone awaited.
First and foremost, for an ardent Ajith Kumar fan, it has everything that they look out for. In fact, most of the shots (perhaps quarter of trailer duration) are not new to us for we have already seen them on the song promos and lyrical videos.
The second thing is that if you’ve been admirer of Ajith Kumar films in a much crazy manner of having watched his movies multiple times, this one is just an ordinary thing. We have seen him doing wheeling in Mankatha and many other movies. We have seen his stylish walks million times. Guns and Ajith Kumar are inseparable terms. Of course, being a cop, conman and gangster in alternative movies doesn’t offer him any other options than this.
But could overshadow all such stereotypical are few elements that comes as flash shots. Akshara Haasan as a hacker, the stunt sequences and few more surprisal aspects like Ajith Kumar’s name being labelled as criminal raises our expectations.
The editing looks slightly old-patterned for we have experience such transitions through ‘Unakulle Mirugam’ from Billa 2. The dialogues too are nothing but cherry picks of Ajith Kumar’s erstwhile movies. Especially the final dialogues by Vivek Oberoi referring ‘Rise of the Phoenix’.
Ultimately, Vivegam trailer satisfies Ajith Kumar fans with the routine elements with mass impact that comes with content.
