Friday Fury - Single heroine in three remake Blockbusters

Remakes have been a ritual cultural of Indian cinema, where it keeps happening between different regions. At this contemporary point of time, there are lots of such things happening here. Moreover, we get to see that new actors are included in the remake version based on the regional tastes. But here is an exceptional illustration and she is none other than actress Rakshitha.

She initially played the female lead role in super hit Kannada movie ‘Appu’ that starred Puneeth Rajkumar. Later the film was remade in Telugu with Ravi Teja in lead role titled ‘Idiot’. It was wonderful to see that the same actress was included in the remake as well.

But what is more awe-inspiring is that she became the first ever heroin to play the female lead role in third remake as well. Yes, it all happened with the Tamil remake ‘Dum’ that starred STR in lead role.
