It was during late 90s and early 2000s, where Tamil cinema was witnessing lots of poetic love stories. The filmmakers attempted trying this genuineness in different premises. There were stories based on boy and girl falling in love even without meeting a single time, sharing there affection through telephonic conversations, letters and many such instances. But it is really surprising to see such a film of its genre of bestowing audiences with pure love happened last year. We're referring about 'En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom', which was directed by Jaganath, who had earlier made yet another beautiful love story 'Raman Thediya Seethai'. This film revolves around a boy, who goes in search of a slipper that is missed by his sweet heart. In fact, it's a one sided love and the girl doesn't even look at his face graciously with smile. But the emotional journey that he embarks on and finally that he brings back the lost slippers to his girlfriend showcases the importance of true love. There is not even a single scene, where the boy or girl use the phrase 'I LOVE YOU'. The first ever conversation between both of them is the girl asking 'What's your name?' right before the final credits.
