Things are getting closer for the big day of PG Muthaiah. The well established cinematographer is now embarking on his directorial venture through Madura Veeran. The film marks the debut of Vijayakanth’s son Shanmugapandiyan in lead role. Sharing few words on the inception of Madura Veeran, PG Muthaiah adds that he had started writing the script even before the Jallikattu protest had broke out across the state. He cites that initially remaking a Hindi film into Tamil as his directorial debut was the main intention. But then, he was as he didn’t want people to assume that he lacks a story of his own and henceforth decided to kick-start his direction with Madura Veeran.
