Having the imitations and good humored narrative, ‘Tamizh Padam’ turned to be a great commercial success in 2010. Continued with that, the trailers and looks of ‘Tamizh Padam-2’, this movie has created buzz such that it is stated to break the expectations by upgrading the first part with more details in the story. Whether this spoof movie has fulfilled the expectations or remained the same standard of ‘Tamizh Padam’ can be analyzed further!

Synopsis :

Casually having the expressive attitude with humor, Shiva (Shiva), a police officer, starts to narrate how the riots of two villages is solved by his long debate such that he further continues to catch the villain ‘P’ aka ‘Pandiya’ (Sathish) in different getups. Whether P who has lavish wealth and power wins the battle, will Shiva catch P and kill him to get justice makes the story.

Analysis:

Hyping up with more expectations by frequently releasing posters and stills of this movie, the team has made audience to giggle and comment about this movie’s posters before the release. Adding up to the expectations and the making, this spoof movie has spread out with laughter aloud in theatres in each and every scene. Imitating many important movies of Kollywood, C S Amudhan-Shiva combo has made a hit with perfect screenplay with lots of detailing in replicating costumes and set designing which has been proved to the maximum level on screen. Not only touching to spoof the remarkable sequences of movies, this movie has covered important happenings in politics as well.

Using very detailed set props has helped to achieve the satisfaction of the audience with lots of humor throughout the movie. In spite of having many negative aspects such as movie’s running time, song sequences, unwanted humor portions etc., this movie will make audience to laugh out and enjoy just like the first part.

Performance:

Alike ‘Tamizh Padam’, Shiva has never missed to fill all his areas of specialization to carry with humor throughout the movie. From handling different getups to spontaneous comedy, his talent has been evident in this spoof genre. Sathish who has played the villain role, has equally justified with Shiva and this movie will definitely mark an important place in his career. Ishwarya Menon who has a character to travel throughout the movie, has also toed her presence syncing with Siva very well. Along with them, Santhana Bharathi, Manobala, R. Sundarrajan, Nizhalgal Ravi, Chetan, George Vijay Nelson, Kalairani has also performed their supporting roles having humor in the base. Lighting up the screen, Disha Pandey, Premgi, Venkat Prabhu, Jiiva, Kasthuri and Producer Sashikanth have made their special appearances in this movie.
