10 films to thunder out in theatres this week!

This week has 10 movies to hit on the screens.

Usually having 2 or 3 releases every week, this week is super special with 10 movie releases. However officially announcing about the releases and cancelling the release in last minute, it cannot be assured that all the movies will be released on the mentioned dates. And the movie releases can be listed as follows -

1) ‘Ghajinikanth’ – Continued after ‘Hara Hara Mahadevaki’ and ‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu’, Santhosh P. Jayakumar’s most awaited release ‘Ghajinikanth’ is ready to run on theatres this week. Having ‘A’ censor in all his previous movies, Santhosh has received ‘U’ censor certificate for this movie. Bankrolled by K E Gnanavel Raja’s ‘Studio Green’, this movie has Balamurali Balu’s background score. Cinematography is handled by Ballu.

2) ‘Maniyar Kudumbam’ – Directing Murali in ‘Manuneedhi’ and Vadivelu in ‘Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan’, almost after 10 years of a break in directing, Thambi Ramaiah has directed this movie with the cast involving his son next to ‘Adhagapttadhu Mahajanangalae’, Umapathy Ramaiah as a hero and Mrdula Murali as the heroine of the movie. Along with them, Thambi Ramaiah, Samuthirakani, Jeyaprakash, Radha Ravi, Mottai Rajendran, Vivek Prasanna, Srijaravi and Yashika Anand play the supporting roles for this comedy entertainer. Cinematography is handled by P K Varma in which the distribution of this movie is done by Sakthi Vel’s ‘Sakthi Film Factory’ all over Tamil Nadu.

3) ‘Enga Kaatula Mazhai’ – ‘Kullanari Kootam’ fame director Sri Balaji directorial ‘Enga Kaatula Mazhai’ starring Mithun, Shruti Ramakrishnan in lead roles and Shams, Appukutty, Aruldass in the supporting roles. Produced under the banner of ‘Thenandal Films’ this movie is stated to be an action comedy entertainer.

4) ‘Kadal Kudhiraigal’ – Directing Sathyaraj in ‘Uchithanai Muharnthaal’, Selva in ‘Meindhan’ Kushboo and Sujitha in ‘Kaatrukena Vaeli’ and ‘Ullakkadathal’, Pugazhendhi Thangaraj has now directed ‘Kadal Kudhiraigal’ having ‘Thalaivaasal’ Vijay in an important role which is also stated to have storyline about sufferings of Tamilians of Srilanka just like in his previous movie ‘Kaatrukena Vaeli’. The movie which had the audio and trailer launch at Jaffna in Srilanka, involves the technical crew with ‘Vedham Puthidhu’ Deventhiran, Shyama Chandran, Pattusaamy and K Thanickachalam.

5) ‘Kadigara Manidhargal’ – Having the musical composition of Sam C S, this movie is directed by Vaikarai Balan with the cast involving actors like Kishore, Karunakaran, Sherin and Bala Singh. With the storyline based with the life of middle class people, cinematography of this movie is handled by Shankar Narayanan.

6) ‘Nadodi Kanavu’ – Directed by the debut director Veera Selva, Mahendran and Supraja has played the lead roles in this movie. Rolling up this movie in the locations of Sivagangai, this movie is stated to have family sentimental storyline involving love and caste issues. Produced by K Rajendiran, cinematography of this movie is handled by Jijee Sunny. Music is composed by Sabesh Murali for this movie.

7) ‘Kattu Paya Sir Intha Kaali’ – After ‘Madurai Sambavam’, ‘Thoppi’, ‘Sivappu Enakku Pidikkum’ Director Youreka has directed ‘Kattu Paya Sir Intha Kaali’ with the cast involving ‘Madhya Chennai’ fame Jaivanth and debut actress Ira Agarwal. Based on the story of people who comes for work from North India and try to create issues, Youreka is stated to convey the message in the movie that people who come to earn should not wish to rule the place. Handled by Mani Perumal for Cinematography, the music for this movie is composed by Vijay Shankar.

8) ‘Pooya Velaiya Paathukittu’ – Introducing fresh faces, this romantic movie is directed by Virudhai Vel. Produced under the banner of ‘Harishreedha Productions’, this movie involves senior technicians like Maarish, Subramani, Sanjeev Kanna and Tholkaapiyan as part of the crew.

9) ‘Arali’ – Directing with new faces, ‘Arali’ is written and directed by A R Subbaraj. When Subbaraj explained about the movie, he has mentioned that the story is said to have a concept which is probably happening in foreign countries but not in India. Screening the premiere to many celebrities recently, the movie is stated to have good reviews.

10) ‘Uppu Puli Kaaram’ - Directed by Guru Raja, the movie involves the cast with Malayalam actors like Guinness Pakru, Tini Tom, Dharmajan Bolgatty and Ponnamma Babu. With the genre of comedy in this movie, the music is composed by Ravi Devendran.
