With the continuous news about deaths of ‘Rocket’ Ramanathan, Velai Subbaiah and Producer M G Sekar, there is another movie artist who had passed away yesterday. In the direction of Bhackiyaraj, the movies like ‘Oru Kai Oosai’, ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’, ‘Aariraro Aariraro’, ‘Yen Raththathin Rathamae’, ‘Pavunu Pavunuthaan’ and in movies like ‘Thirumathi Pazhanisamy’, ‘Paazhaivana Paravaigal’, ‘Avvai Shanmugi’, ‘Nilavae Vaa’, actor and veteran comedian Kovai Senthil had acted in more than 200 films.
In 2016, he had met with a major accident at T Nagar when he was driving a two wheeler with actor Selvakumar. In that same accident, Selvakumar has passed away. With severe injuries, Kovai Senthil has survived from that accident after overcoming the critical stage. After that Kovai Senthil didn’t act with any of the movies. Then before few weeks, Kovai Senthil had been admitted for his serious health issues in a hospital at Coimbatore. Been very critical, 74 years old Senthil had passed away yesterday. As a comedian, Kovai Senthil had created a separate identity because of which in the memory of him, Nadigar Sangam has announced the condolence news. It is also stated that his death is a great loss for Tamil Cinema.
