‘96’, ‘NOTA’, ‘Raatchasan’, ‘Yaagan’ and ‘Venom’ are the movies which are ready to hit on screens this week.

Much expected for the releases of ‘96’, ‘NOTA’ ‘Raatchasan’, ‘Yaagan’ and ‘Venom’, this week seems to have a Hollywood movie, ‘Venom’ as a release. The details of the releases can be briefed as follows –

1) ‘96’ – Having a narrative of a childhood romance, Cinematographer Prem Kumar’s debut directorial ‘96’ has involved Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Along with them, Varsha Bollamma, Aadithya Baaskar, Gouri G Krishna, Devadharshini, Janagaraj and ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kannom’ Bagavathi Perumal play important roles. Cinematography is handled by Mahendiran Jeyaraju and N. Shanmuga Sundaram and editing is done by R. Govindaraj. Bankrolled under the banner of Nandagopal’s ‘Madras Enterprises’, ‘96’ is releasing on October 4th. With the hypes and wonderful music composition of Govind Vasantha, ‘96’ is much awaited on screens expecting to fill up the romance movie lists which comes up on the lines of ‘Autograph’ and ‘Azhagi’ in Tamil Cinema.

2) ‘NOTA’ – Starring ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Vijay Devarkonda, Mehreen Pirzada, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Yashika Aannand, Anastasia Maslova, Sanchana Natarajan, Priyadarshi Pullikonda and M. S. Bhaskar in prominent roles, ‘NOTA’ is directed by Anand Shankar who has previously directed movies like ‘Arima Nambi’ and ‘Irumugan’. Jointly bankrolled under the grand banner of K E Gnanavelraja’s ‘Studio Green’ and ‘Abi & Abi Creations’, ‘NOTA’ will be released in Tamil and Telugu worldwide on October 5th. Stated to be a political thriller, the camera for ‘NOTA’ is handled by Santhana Krishnan and Ravichandran whereas editing is done by Raymond Derrick Crasta. Music for this movie is composed by Sam C S. Much expected to be an important movie in Vijay Devarkonda’s career, the movie is expected for the release with great hopes.

3) ‘Raatchasan’ – Directed by ‘Mundasupatti’ fame Ramkumar and produced under the banner of G. Dilli Babu and R. Sridhar’s ‘Axess Film Factory’, ‘Raatchasan’ has involved actors like Vishnu, Amala Paul, Suzane George, Sanjay, Kaali Venkat and Ramdoss in prime roles. Stated to have been waiting for the approval of producer and cast, Ramkumar is said to have direct this psychological thriller for almost 2 years with so much hard work. Having the musical strings of Ghibran, the cinematography of ‘Raatchasan’ is done by P. V. Sankar. Editing is done by San Lokesh. Sneaking out interesting sneak peeks recently, the movie is very much expected in the K Town for the release from October 5th.

4) ‘Yaagan’ – Directed by the debut director Vinoth Thangavel, the cast of ‘Yaagan’ involves debut actor Sajan and Anjana Keerthy in the lead roles. Bankrolled by ‘Maapanaar Productions’, the music of ‘Yaagan’ is composed by Niro Prabhakaran. Stated to have Bharathiraja’s brother and actor Jayaram for an important role in this movie, the cinematography is handled by Mahesh and editing is done by Sharan Shanmugam. Stating to have a love story in ‘Yaagan’, the team has officially announced that this movie will release on screens from October 5th.

5) ‘Venom’ – Directed by Ruben Fleischer and produced under the grand banners of ‘Columbia Pictures’, ‘Marvel Entertainment’, ‘Tencent Pictures’, ‘Arad Productions’, ‘Matt Tolmach Productions’and ‘Pascal Pictures’, ‘Venom’ is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics, the movie and character name ‘Venom’ has been inspired by another Marvel character, David Michelinie and Todd McFarlane’s ‘Spider Man’. Screenplay and story is written by Jeff Pinkner, Scott Rosenberg and Kelly Marcel. With the cast having Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze and Scott Haze, the cinematography of this superhero film is done by Matthew Libatique and editing is done by Maryann Brandon and Alan Baumgarten. Music and background score is composed by Ludwig Göransson. Having craze of Marvel heroes among Marvel lovers worldwide for ages, ‘Venom’ is expected to bang on screens from October 5th.
