Generally briefing with the list of movies piling up every week, with the celebration of ‘Navratri’, there are 9 movies lined up for releasing. The movies are as follows –

1) ‘Aan Devathai’ – Directed by Thamira who has previously directed ‘Rettasuzhi’ and produced under the banner of Fakrudeen and Sheik Dawood’s ‘Sigaram Cinemas’, ‘Aan Devathai’ involves Samuthirakani and ‘Joker’ fame Ramya Pandian, Aranthangi Nisha, Kavin, Monica, Radha Ravi, Ilavarasu and Suja Varunee in prominent roles. Stated to have a story of a husband and wife with egos and not caring kids because of misunderstandings, ‘Aan Devathai’ is said to portray about people who run behind money and getting ample of loans for their comfort and luxury. Music is composed by Ghibran and the cinematography for this movie is handled by Vijay Milton.

2) ‘Koothan’ – Bankrolled under the banner of ‘Nilgris’ Murugan’s ‘Muugan Enterprises’, ‘Koothan’ stars Producer Murugan’s son Raj Murugan pairing up with Sonali Singh. Along with them, Junior Balaiya, Bhagyaraj, Manobala, Kira Narayanan, Nagendra Prasad , Renuka and Urvashi play the important roles. Directed by A L Venky, ‘Koothan’ and with the music composed by Balaji, ‘Koothan’ is stated to have commercial packed elements like romance, family sentiments with drama.

3) ‘Manusangada’ – Written and directed by Amshan Kumar and bankrolled under the banner of S.Thara and Gana.Natkunan’s ‘A K FILMS’, ‘Manusangada’ involves Rajeev Anand, Manimegalai, A.S.Sasikumar, Sheela Rajkumar, Vidhur Rajarajan, Sethu Darwin and Anand Sampath in important roles. Recognized by screening in many International film festivals, cinematography for ‘Manusangada’ is handled by P.S.Dharan and editing is done by Dhanasekar. Stated to convey the message, “This is the sound for human’s rights”, ‘Manusangada’ will be with a strong subject as the core.

4) ‘Kalavani Sirukki’- Bankrolled by ‘Rana Creations’ and directed by Ravi Rahul, ‘Kalavani Sirukki’ is a romantic drama with debut actors, Swami and Anju. Introducing the new technicians as part of the crew in this movie, it is also stated that the first 100 people who watches the movie on the first day will be gifted with a lungi.

5) ‘Adangaa Pasanga’ – Produced and Directed by Selvanathan, the cast of ‘Adangaa Pasanga’ involves Suresh Babu pairing up with a debut heroine. Having romance as the genre of the movie, K B Algates, R B Prabhu, A K Aldrin and Maneesh has worked as prominent technicians.

6) ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ - Bankrolled by Gokulam Gopalan’s ‘Sree Gokulam Movies’, ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ is directed by ’36 Vayadinile’ fame Rosshan Andrrews. Stated to portray the life history of Kerala’s ‘Robin Hood’ ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’, the movie stars with Nivin Pauly, Mohanlal, Priya Anand, Priyanka Thimmesh, Sunny Wayne, Babu Antony, Shine Tom Chacko, Manikandan R. Achari, Sidhartha Siva, Padmaraj Ratheesh and Santhosh Keezhattoor in important roles. Making this periodic movie for almost 2 years with the narration of 18th century happenings, the movie is made with a whopping budget.

Pepping for the release worldwide on October 11th, the team has officially announced that India’s largest multiplex ‘Carnival Cinemas’ has been involved for organizing India’s first ‘movie marathon’ such that it has been planned to screen 24 hours in 19 places and in almost on 52 screens which will running more than 200 shows. Added to this, to mention as a specialty of ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’, this is the first time in India to have a movie running on screens for 24 hours.

With the musical strings of Gopi Sundar for this 18th century historical movie, the cinematography has been handled by Nirav Shah, Binod Pradhan and Sudheer Palsane whereas editing is done by Sreekar Prasad.

7) ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ – Directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S. Radha Krishna’s ‘Haarika & Hassine Creations’, ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ involves Jr N. T. R, Pooja Hegde, Eesha Rebba, Sunil, Jagapati Babu, Naga Babu and Rao Ramesh in important roles. Having mass and ultimate action as the genre, music for ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ is composed by S. Thaman. Cinematography is handled by P. S. Vinod whereas editing is done by Naveen Nooli.

8) ‘Helicopter Eela’ – Having ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ beauty, Kajol in the main lead, ‘Helicopter Eela’ stars Riddhi Sen, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Neha Dhupia, Shataf Figar, Atul Kulkarni and Mukesh Rishi in important roles. Along with them the actors, Imran Khan, Anu Malik, Alisha Chinoy, Ila Arun, Shaan and Amitabh Bachchan plays cameo roles. Produced by Kajol’s husband and actor Ajay Devgn’s ‘Ajay Devgn FFilms’ in association with Jayantilal Gada and Aksshay Jayantilal Gada’s ‘Pen India Limited’, the cinematography is handled by Sirsha Ray and editing is done by Dharmendra Sharma. Music composed by Amit Trivedi and Raghav Sachar, the background score of this comedy drama is composed by Daniel.B George.

9) ‘A Star is Born’ – Directed and acted by Bradley Cooper, ‘A Star is Born’ stars with Lady Gaga, Sam Elliott, Dave Chappelle, Andrew Dice Clay, Anthony Ramos and many other actors in important roles. Cinematography handled by Matthew Libatique for this romantic musical movie, the editing is done by Jay Cassidy. Bankrolled under the grand banners of Warner Bros. Pictures, Live Nation Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Gerber Pictures, Peters Entertainment and Joint Effort, the movie is premiered at the 75th Venice International Film Festival on August 31st. Apart from the making and the crew details, the audio track, "I'll Never Love Again" has been spreading out as a romantic bliss for all Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s fans.
