How many movies to enjoy on screens for this Pooja holidays?

‘Vada Chennai’, ‘Sandakozhi 2’ and ‘Ezhumin’ are the three movies releasing on screens this week.

Generally listing out how many movies are hitting the screens every week, there are three movies to rejoice during Pooja holidays. The movies are as follows -

1) ‘Vada Chennai’ –

After the collaboration of Dhanush and Director Vetrimaaran in ‘Polladhavan’ and ‘Aadukalam’, the combo is once again back with the making of ‘Vada Chennai’ which is stated to be a crime thriller portraying the 30 years long story of a gangster from North Madras. The cast also comprises of actors like Ameer, Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji, Kishore, Karunas, Pawan, Radha Ravi, Subramaniam Siva, Cheenu Mohan and Daniel Annie Pope, the music for this crime thriller is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Stated to have more violence and vulgar scenes, the movie has been certified with ‘A’ censor certificate with uncut scenes. Cinematography handled by Velraj, the editing of ‘Vada Chennai’ is done by G. B. Venkatesh. Bankrolled under the banner of Dhanush’s ‘Wunderbar Films’, the movie is scheduled for the release on October 17th in both Tamil and Telugu (dubbed) with more expectations on the making and the team. It is also stated that ‘Vada Chennai’ will be having another part in the future since it has a huge story and narration.

2) ‘Sandakozhi 2’ –

Continued after the release of ‘Sandakozhi’ which was a great bang on screens in the year 2005, Vishal and Lingusamy has once again joined their hands in the second part by involving the cast with Vishal in dual role along with Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rajkiran, Arjai, Ganja Karuppu and Ramdoss in important roles. Produced under the banners of Vishal’s ‘Vishal Film Factory’ and Jayantilal Gada and Akshay Jayantilal Gada’s ‘Pen Studios’, the music for ‘Sandakozhi 2’ is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography handled by K A Sakthivel and editing is done by K L Praveen. Stated to have a voice over of Karthi for a small portion in the movie, the team is pepping up for release on October 18th.

3) ‘Ezhumin’ –

Produced under his banner of ‘Vaiyam Mediyas’ , V.P. Viji who has previously produced ‘Uru’ has directed ‘Ezhumin’ with the cast which involving Vivek, Devayani, Azhagam Perumal , Prem and 6 kids in prominent roles. Stated to have a subject about kids protecting themselves with martial art forms, ‘Ezhumin’ will be releasing on screens from October 18th. The team of considering this movie to be very important for students apart from education and having martial arts for kids as a practical core subject of the movie, the team has planned to give Rs.15 reduction in the actual rate of the tickets to almost 30 Lakh students.
