The movies like ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’, ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’, ‘Utharavu Maharaja’ and will be flowing on screens this week.

Generally listing out the number of movie releases every week, this week has 5 movie releases to clash on screens. The five movies are listed as follows –

1) ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ –

Directed by Radha Mohan and produced under the banner of Dhananjayan’s ‘BOFTA Media Works’, ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ stars Jyotika, Vidharth, Lakshmi Manchu, M. S. Bhaskar, Manobala, Elango Kumaravel, Mayilsamy and Silambarasan in important roles. Stated to be the remake of Vidya Balan starrer ‘Tumhari Sulu’ in Tamil with Jyotika reprising Vidhya for the respective character, Jyotika has made a reunion with Director Radha Mohan after 11 years of ‘Mozhi’ which is expected much with huge response. Music composed by the nephew of A R Rahman, A. H. Kaashif, the lyrics for the songs are penned by Madhan Karky. Cinematography is handled by Mahesh Muthuswami, editing is done by Praveen K L. Releasing the exciting the trailer and video song of ‘Jimmikki Kammal’ recently, ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ is releasing this Friday i.e., on November 16th.

2) ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’ –

Directed by Ganeshaa and produced under the banner of ‘Vijay Antony Film Corporation’, ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’ involves Vijay Antony, Nivetha Pethuraj, Daniel Balaji, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, Sai Dheena and Muthuraman for prominent roles. Stated to be the serious cop action drama, the movie is released in both Tamil and Telugu. Cinematography is handled by Richard M. Nathan, music is composed by Vijay Antony. Earlier stated to have the release during Diwali, the team is stated to have pushed the movie release a week ahead in order to have screening in more number of screens.

3) ‘Utharavu Maharaja’ –

Directed by Asif Kuraishi and produced under the banner of Udhaya’s ‘Jaeshan Studios’, ‘Utharavu Maharaja’ is a crime psycho thriller starring Prabhu, Udhaya, Manobala and Kovai Sarala in prominent roles. Music is composed by Naren Balakumar. Cinematography is handled by ‘Onaayum Aattukuttiyum’ fame Balaji Ranga and editing is done by Sathyanarayanan who has been a former assistant of Antony.

4) ‘Taxiwaala’ –

Stated to be a supernatural comedy thriller film, ‘Taxiwaala’ is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced under the banners of Bunny Vas’s ‘GA2 Pictures’ and V. Vamshi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati’s ‘UV Creations’. The cast of ‘Taxiwaala’ includes VijayDevar Konda, Priyanka Jawalkar, Malavika Nair, Ravi Prakash, Uttej, Chammak Chandra, Madhunandan and Yamuna. Next to ‘NOTA’, Vijay Devarkonda (VDK) has been very much excited about the release of this thriller. Screenplay is done by Saikumar Reddy. Cinematography is handled by Sujith Sarang and editing is done by Sreejith Sarang. Composing music for ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’, ‘Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2’ and in many Tamil and Malayalam movies earlier, Jakes Bejoy has played his strings in this movie. Certified with ‘U/A’ censor, ‘Taxiwaala’ is pepping up for release on 17th November i.e., on Saturday.

5) ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ –

Starring Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston and Zoe Kravitz, ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ is directed by David Yates and produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Heyday Films. Based on the characters developed by J. K. Rowling, ‘Fantastic Beasts’ is much expected among the audience. With the background score composed by James Newton Howard, Cinematography and Editing is done by Philippe Rousselot and Mark Day respectively. Releasing worldwide with much welcoming after ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ (first part) which was released in 2016, ‘Fantastic Beasts’ is ready to hit on screens in India by 16th November.
