After the release of the mass entertainer of Suriya’s ‘Singam’ in 2010 which is directed by Hari and bankrolled by ‘Reliance BIG Pictures’ and ‘Studio Green’, the movie has been much welcomed among the audience with peppy songs of Devi Sri Prasad and powerful punch dialogues. Next to that, the movie has been remade in Hindi starring Ajay Devgn and Kajal Agarwal for the lead roles which is directed by Rohit Shetty and had acquired good response among the Bollywood audience as well around 2011. Continued by this with an endless break for the remaking season, ‘Singam’ is remade as ‘Singham’ in Punjabi involving actors like Parmish Verma and Sonam Bajwa in prime roles directed by Navaniat Singh and jointly bankrolled by ‘T Series’, actor Ajay Devgn and ‘Panorama Studios’. Cinematography is handled by Harmeet Singh.
