Amala Paul as ‘Dr Bhadra’ in an upcoming thriller!

Directed by the debut director Anoop Panicker and bankrolled by ‘AJ Films’ & ‘White Screen Media’, Amala Paul is signed in for a movie to play a ‘forensic surgeon’ role.

Taking up a film making course in Chennai, Anoop Panicker who had previously worked with few debut directors in Tamil, have roped in Amala Paul for playing the role of a forensic surgeon in his first ever Tamil debut directorial. The duo is stated to team up for the first time such that doing the ground work for almost 6 months by visiting many medical colleges to know more about the procedures carried out. Stated to make this thriller which is based on real life incidents involved by ‘Dr Umadathan’ who handled an unusual case, Amala is stated to reprise that character as a chief police surgeon, ‘Dr Bhadra’, powerfully in this female centric role to solve a case in this untitled movie. Story being scripted by Abhilash Pillai who is also simultaneously scripting for G Prajith’s upcoming directorial starring Dileep, the technical crew is stated to have hands of the same ‘Ratsasan’ team prominently. Been as a set of lead crew with an origin of Malayalam and with the jointly bankrolling by ‘AJ Films’ & ‘White Screen Media’, the team is yet to finalize the remaining cast and start rolling up for this thriller from March 2019.

On the other hand, Amala is also waiting eagerly for the releases of ‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola’, ‘Aadai’ Naresh Malhotra’s untitled Bollywood directorial and a Malayalam movie, ‘Aadujeevitham’, seems to be keenly concentrating in character oriented films at recent times.
