Director Maanik has stated that ‘Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam’ will be having the story about the trust in friendship which will be happening in the 80s backdrop.

Recently sneaking out the first look by Arya, ‘Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam’ has been directed by Maanik Sathya and produced under the banner of Malarkodi Murugan’s ‘Blue Hills Productions’. Involving Prithvi Pandirajan and Chandini in lead roles, Singam Puli, Ganja Karuppu, Ameer and Sivasenathipathy has played the prominent roles in the movie. Seems like having the backdrop with 80s look, Director Maanik has stated that the hero of the film, Prithvi played the role of a diehard ‘Karthik’ fan such that he hangs around simply without going for a proper job and falls in love with Chandini who is a teacher. Revolving the strong story about the bond with friends and about the trust in friendship, the team has also screened the movie recently to Pandirajan who has commented with his best wishes after watching as, “Last 15 minutes had the fiery fire heating up while watching.”

Rolled up in the locations of Chennai, Ooty, Cuddalore, Thitikudi, Virudhachalam and Perambalur, the cinematography for Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam’ has been handled by Harris Krishnan and editing is done by Suresh Aras. Stunts choreographed by Amreen Bakkar, Art Direction for this friendship story of 1985 have been supervised by Pragadeeswaran. With the musical composition of P C Sivan, the team is expected to release the movie very soon.
