After ‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’, Director Magizh Thirumeni has associated Arun Vijay for the second time for dual role characters. Will this ‘Thadam’ have a great opening just like ‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’?
Ezhil and Kavin (Arun Vijay) are two different people who vary vastly in lifestyle, interests and also in aims. While they face their own life situations and routines, they get caught in Police for a murder case because of a selfie evidence. However Police gets confused to know the actual criminal behind this crime scene because of their similar faces? How Police plans to find the criminal? What are the backgrounds of both the suspects and who has done the crime? The apt ‘Thadam’ (proof) will be revealed in the climax of this thrilling film!
Having a great research on the concept of having similar appearances, the treatment and research on the crime cases, the knot has been clearly executed on the thrilling screenplay in this Magizh Thirumeni’s directorial. Choosing the right cast, the movie had great realistic stunts in the serious action scenes. However the introductory background music seems to be little irritated, the film had the fast moving interval block and the thrilling second half. The romantic portions were frittering up with great ideas, the cinematography and editing has been quite descent throughout the movie.
Been the main lead, Arun Vijay has been absolutely fit with his body and also been apt to the characters he had owed not only in romance and emotional scenes, but also in action scenes. Showing the direct enmity on Arun, FEFSI Vijayan’s role as a police, has been terror on the portions he has appeared. Vidya Pradeep who has played the intelligent police officer, has done her role so consciously with good attitude. Pairing up alongside with Arun, Tanya Hope and Smruthi Venkat have performed their roles well. Playing the cameo role, Sonia Aggarwal has performed well as a loving mother. Last but not the least Yogi Babu has acted in a good supportive role than making little laughter and giggles with his wits.
