Directed by ‘Eetti’ fame Ravi Arasu and produced under the banner of ‘Common Man Presents’, the upcoming film ‘Ayngaran’ has been involving G V Prakash Kumar and Mahima Nambiar in important roles. However, the team had launched the trailer and audio songs of the film by today morning, Director Bharathiraja and many other personalities from the film industry had been present in the delightful event.

In such instance, when Director Vasantha Balan had been giving the speech, he had stated that “In the 66th National Award announcement which had been made recently, Tamil movies and Tamil actors had been completely ignored. Only one award has been given for a Tamil film. There are no talents from Tamil Industry or no good and quality films in Kollywood? The voice of Tamil actors, personalities & politicians from the Tamil Nadu Government has to be raised for ignoring the whole Tamil Film Industry. I request Bharathiraja for assuring that this same scenario should not happen in the upcoming days.”

Addressing for the request, Bharathiraja had replied to Vasantha Balan as, “The artists from Tamil Nadu are not taken in the list just that it doesn’t mean they are good competitors. There are good artists and quality films here. Award-winning movies like ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ and ‘Merkku Thodarchi Malai’ are releasing in Tamil. But the problem is we don’t have any specific configuration to tell about such worthy films. These kinds of problem can be tackled only when we have a separate chamber for Tamil Film Industry just like in other states. The action for implementing such ideas will be taken very soon by Producers Council.”
