How many films are racing on screens this week?

Usually listing out the number of movie releases every week, this week has 3 films which are lined up for the release as follows –

1) ‘Saaho’ –

After the success of 2 epic films ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Baahubali 2’, Prabhas had been pairing up with Shraddha Kapoor in the upcoming action film ‘Sahoo’ directed by Sujeeth and bankrolled by ‘UV Creations’ (Tamil & Telugu) and ‘T-Series’ (Hindi). The film also stars Arun Vijay, Evelyn Sharma, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Schroff, and many others in the prominent roles with the musical composition of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and background scoring of Ghibran. Stated to be the ultimate action film with romance as a slight touch, ‘Sahoo’ is releasing worldwide in screens on August 30th with great expectations due to the huge budget used for the making. Cinematography handled by R. Madhi, Editing is done by Sreekar Prasad.

2) ‘Sixer’ –

Directed by the debut director Chachi and bankrolled under the banners of ‘Wall Mate Entertainment’ and ‘Trident Arts’, Vaibhav and Pallak Lalwani is pairing up in the lead roles in the film titled as ‘Sixer’. With the cinematography handled by PG Muthaiah, the music for this film is composed by Ghibran. Censored with ‘U’ Censor certificate, ‘Sixer’ is hitting the screens on August 30th with the story of a person who is affected with night blindness. Editing done by Jomin, stunts for ‘Sixer’ is choreographed by Sam and Ram Kumar. Art Direction is supervised by Pasar NK Rahul.

3) ‘Mayuran’ –

Directed by Nandan Subbrayan who had been the former assistant of Director Bala who had worked in movies like ‘Nandha’ and ‘Pithamagan’, and produced by ‘Pinnacle Film Studio’, ‘Mayuran’ stars Vela Ramamurthy, Anandsamy, Amudhavanan and Ashmtha K Dogra in the prominent roles. With the musical composition of Jerard Felix, the background score for ‘Mayuran’ had been played by ‘Pazhaya Vannaarapettai’ fame Jubin. Cinematography handled by Parameswar, editing is done by Ashwin. Having the story which is based on the incidents of college, ‘Mayuran’ is releasing on August 30th.
