Directed by the debut director KR Vinoth and bankrolled under the banner of Jones’ ‘Century International Films’, the action thriller ‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola' which has the dominant adventurous moves of Amala Paul is all set to have the release soon. As part of the promotions, the team had a brief meeting with the press reporters recently.

When Amala Paul had addressed the press reporters, she has stated that “One young girl gets caught in the middle of a dense forest. How the girl escapes from such a situation is the one-line story of this film. The debate on the security of women goes on in this country. In such a scenario, this film will be motivating for the woman whoever watches this. I have practiced the martial arts ‘Krav Maga’ and have performed in the film. I also had a stunt sequence with Stunt Master Supreme Sundar. That sequence will definitely have a great talk. Much prior to the shooting, the team had shown me the recorded demo of the fight sequence. That’s the reason I could perform confidently after practicing. The martial arts which I have learned for this film had given me so much confidence for my daily living as well. Every woman must learn any form of martial arts definitely. It will be useful for protecting themselves.

Director Vinoth, Executive Producer Gavaskar and writer Arun had crossed many hurdles for this film. The difficulties that I have faced is nothing when compared to the hurdles they met. My previous film ‘Aadai’ had ‘A’ censor certificate. So only adults were not able to watch the film but this film is certified with ‘U’ censor. So everyone can watch this film and women will be getting lots of self-confidence because of this film. I am so proud of being a part of this film and I am so much interested in acting in films which have good content like this.”

Along with Amala Paul, the film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and Samir Kochhar in the prominent roles such that the cinematography and editing is done by Santhakumar C and John Abraham respectively. Music for the thriller is composed by Jakes Bejoy.
